I have worked for the same company for almost 10 years and it has been great, and I was content. In October, the company was unexpectedly sold to a large organization on the east coast. At first I was terrified. Everything that I knew, and loved was SURELY going to change, IF I managed to even keep my job! After processing the unexpected news for a few days, and allowing myself to feel the feelings that come with this kind of news, I decided to get excited! I didn’t know if I would have a job, and yes that could be scary, but I decided to let it be exciting! I flowed energy to creating the best possible outcome as the big day of the transition neared, even though I didn’t know what that would look like.

The big day arrived, I held the feeling of joy and excitement as I was called into the office of the new VP of the company to find out if I would have a job, or be released to look for a new an exciting opportunity. I had a real sense of calm – it was truly wonderful. The VP went on to tell me that they would love to keep me part of the team moving forward! I was ecstatic … but it gets better. She went on to tell me that I would be promoted to a new position with a new title, offered me a raise, told me they were going to continue to give me my amazing five weeks of vacation each year, informed me that they would be keeping the offices open and not moving anyone to the east coast, AND told me that I will get to create my position by choosing the aspects that I love doing so I could enjoy my job to the fullest extent! And one MORE thing… after the sale of the company was final, I received a check for $4,000 from the previous owner who sold it as a ‘thank you’ for helping build it up to what it was!!!

It is all about the feelings … I felt them, and the universe delivered. Thank you unseen friends … xo
